About

Writer, Photographer, Storyteller.

I have always considered myself a creative. As a kid, I finger-painted flowers with water on the cement driveway during hot summer days. Once the sun set, I rushed inside to sit in front of the old family Dell for hours writing short stories. Writing and art have since been an integral part of my life.

In 2020, I moved from Seattle to San Diego to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego. My writing career began on campus, first as a Contributing Writer and then Assistant News Editor for our student run newspaper, The USD Vista. Outside of campus, I had the opportunity to work as an editorial intern for San Diego Magazine during the summer of 2023. I currently freelance for San Diego Magazine and particularly enjoy writing profiles on local entrepreneurs, food & drinks, local news and anything else that inspires me.

To supplement my writing, I am also constantly creating, drawing and taking photos. I had two hand-drawn illustrations published in the September and October 2023 editions of San Diego Magazine. Additionally, I work in both digital and film photography, focusing mainly on landscapes as well as artistic portraiture.

I am always looking for opportunities to build my portfolio and expand my network. Please reach out via my Contact page to connect about potential projects or to chat more!
